Saddlebrook Joint Use Facility

The Saddlebrook Joint Use Facility is a collaborative effort between the Omaha Public Schools, Omaha Public Library, and City of Omaha Parks and Recreation.  This unique facility houses an elementary school, a public library branch, and a community center.

This facility is also a featured stormwater Best Management Practice (BMP) demonstration project.  The building and parking lot contain BMPs designed to reduce stormwater runoff and pollution.  This project is set up in such a way as to allow the City to assess the effectiveness of these different BMPs at reducing runoff and removing pollutants from that runoff.
